Agency for brand experiences realizes interactive networked conference with prominent guests from politics, health care and economy on the use of digital health data in the EU
As part of the German EU Council Presidency, a conference of Die Techniker was to be held under the theme “Digital Fundamental Rights in the EU”. In order to be able to hold the event despite the Covid-19 pandemic, it took place as a virtual streaming event at the four interactively networked locations Hamburg, Brussels, Helsinki and Vienna on a digital platform. EAST END, the agency for brand experiences, was responsible for the basic concept of the event format, the digital platform and networking, as well as the technical implementation and realization on site.
Guests could participate in the virtual event by registering on a specially created micro-site with livestream and interaction options. Decision-makers from politics, healthcare, business, research, development, science, medicine, insurance as well as interested citizens were invited to follow the virtual conference with eight experts regardless of location. During the event, the focus was on various keynotes, breakout sessions, keynote speeches and a concluding panel discussion that discussed the use of digital health data in the EU and its potential misuse. The interactive platform also offered the opportunity to exchange ideas with the speakers and other participants via chats and to take part in voting.
“We are pleased that, despite the current situation, we were able to implement a conference for Die Techniker within the framework of the EU Council Presidency and thus offer a location-independent knowledge transfer as well as exciting, virtual and interactive dialog on the topic of “Digital Fundamental Rights in the EU”.,” says Oliver Golz, founder and CEO of EAST END.
