After a record year, EAST END
continues to grow in 2017

  • The agency for brand experiences grows by 25%
  • builds up business particularly in the automotive area and in realizing international events

A record year for EAST END. The agency for brand experiences registers 25 percent growth in 2016. The prime reasons for this lie in the success of new business, the development of existing customers and continuing internationalization.

“Creating experiences that last beyond the moment.” EAST END has consistently followed this positioning and pursued it to success. Consequently, companies like Barilla, Shell, Deloitte, Miele and the publishing house Condé Nast have added many new names to the list of customers. Above all, the agency’s automotive competence paid off: With Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen and Hyundai, EAST END worked simultaneously with four automobile companies in the areas of conception, creation and realization.

The team surrounding founder and managing director Oliver Golz also scored with existing customers: Business with the auto manufacturer Audi tripled last year with the agency carrying out events like the “Festive Opera Gala” in Berlin, the Audi Award on Ibiza and the conference “Board of the Rings”. More events are to follow in 2017 such as those for the Audi City in Berlin. EAST END also expanded its international activities, realizing events in Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Austria and Switzerland. For 2017 there are projects in planning for the US, Middle East, Scandinavia and Spain.

“2016 was a great year for us. We realized one-of-a-kind national and international projects for exciting customers”, says Oliver Golz. “We are especially pleased with our growth which exceeds the branch average. This success shows us that an agency’s understanding of the brand is an ever increasing factor in cooperation. We look toward 2017 with much confidence“.

“We are very happy that our strategy was successful in 2016. We put intensive work into creating a healthy business mix. This enabled EAST END to win significant new business for 2017, such as the general agreement with Continental Tires and Techniker health insurance”, explains Marc Matern, Director of Marketing and Business Development.

Because 2017 is paved with many exciting new customers and projects at EAST END, employee planning is moving full speed ahead. The agency has intensified its search for experienced event and marketing specialists to support the 40-strong team in the locations Hamburg, Berlin and Munich.
