In this position, she develops EAST END’s consultation services in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich and Dubai and promotes the implementation of digital transformation in the area of brand experiences.
“With Christiane Wiemann, our team gains one of Germany’s leading strategists”, says Oliver Golz, founder and Managing Director of EAST END. “She assists us in further developing the service spectrum for our clients and position EAST END as strategic consultant for brand experiences beyond the moment.”
“Personal brand experiences play an ever increasing role in communication at large companies. EAST END is one of the leaders in this area and offers enormous opportunities for strategists such as myself”, says Christian Wiemann, Director of Strategy & Innovation at EAST END, as explanation for her step. „Events are the ideal content hub and – if they are well-conceived – contribute to the brand in every segment of the customer journey. That is why event agencies must be involved in the entire future process – live as well as digital. The effective and efficient use of the opportunities offered by digital transformation provides the area of brand experiences with a fascinating challenge with enormous potential for our clients. Oliver Golz’ team is well prepared with its vision ‘experience beyond moments.”
Wiemann comes from Serviceplan where she, as Head of Strategic Planning for the Serviceplan Consulting Group and Head of Strategy for the digital subsidiary Plan.Net, developed and lead the strategy of Germany’s largest owner-managed agency. Amongst others, FCB and Grey were a further step in her career. During this period, she worked with large brands such as Adelholzener, Allianz, Camel, Durex, Joop, Nivea, Sagrotan and Varta. As assistant professor at the Miami Ad School Europe, she taught on the subject „Brands and Branding”.
The cooperation has already produced first fruits: Christiane Wiemann and the EAST END team have developed five new products in the areas of scope, influencer, social video, Whatsapp and analytics. These allow companies the smart digital projection and the analysis of their events and the accompanying measures.
„Spending in advertising is an ever stronger focus for internal discussion”, Oliver Golz explains the approach. “We want to offer companies a basis for quick, relevant and cost-transparent decisions. In addition to efficiency topics, we want to drive our customers’ innovation, because that is what puts a competitive edge and market differentiation into effect.First successfully implemented innovation projects illustrate: We are optimally prepared and create an added value in terms of brand experience for our customers.”
